Effectiveness of Chiropractic Care to Improve Sensorimotor Function Associated With Falls Risk in Older People: A Randomized Controlled Trial

A great new study in JMPT(Journal of Manipulative and Physical Therapy) demonstrated scientifically that chiropractic care over 12 weeks increased older patient’s reflexes and ability to react to unstable surfaces.  This now proven fact has been known by the very first chiropractors over 100 years ago glad someone has quantified this with modern science.  So in “everyday speak”, getting seen by your chiropractor regularly keeps you from tripping or falling as much which is common as we age.

Chiropractic Proven to Improve Quality of Life

If you can be more active with less falls then life is good.  If you can do more physcial acitivities with less fear of trippinng or losing your balance then life is good.  If you can walk with your family, go shopping, walk across the lawn with confidence that your feet and back will not give out then life is good!  All these activities can be helped with REGULAR CHIROPRACTIC VISITS.

REGULAR VISITS ARE NOT PAIN VISITS.   Going to your chiropractor for regular check ups may not be covered by Medicare but are well worth it.  Your chiropractor will determine if your visit is for an “acute” or “flareup” issue or a “maintenance” issue and should be able to let you know if they expect your insurance(Medicare) to reimburse or pay for that visit.  But in either case you NEED that visit so keep the appointment if you want to keep “life in balance” and your body responding as well as possible to what ever life has to throw at you.  Regular LIFETIME CHIROPRACTIC CHECK-UPS make for smooth sailing!

See you on your next visit!
